At NOEMI Aerospace, we believe future aircraft should be shaped not only by engineering models and simulations, but also by the people who will eventually fly them.
Recently, we welcomed Lasse Rungholm, Chief Pilot at Nordic Seaplanes, to experience the NOEMI Flight Simulator and share his first impressions.
Lasse brings extensive operational experience from seaplane flying, including the iconic De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter. During the session, he explored the aircraft handling characteristics and overall flight experience.
His first reaction was direct: "First impression of the NOEMI simulator is awesome. I can't wait to fly this aircraft for real."
Lasse also highlighted familiar performance characteristics: "The speeds are almost like I'm used to in the Twin Otter. Absolutely stunning."
Of course, a simulator is not the aircraft itself. But feedback from experienced operators gives us valuable insight as we continue refining the programme and moving toward full-scale testing.
His closing comment may have been our favourite: "I want to take this airplane on a tour around the world to sell it."
We like the ambition.
One step closer to first flight. ⚡✈️🌊
